chapter 1
cassal davis
“Next stop Trenton,” the conductor of the train said as the train started to move, causing Cassal Davis to smile. She stopped when she noticed a guy was looking at her concerned for why she might have been looking at him. She blushed and looked away as he sat down in the seat in front of her. Trenton Academy was going to be her new home for her starting the minute she feet foot onto campus. She had read the school manual and school site inside out, she had even checked out the newspaper online that was handled by a senior and a sophomore. Cassal had studied the in and out list numerous times and had repacked her suitcases about ten times not wanting to be the new kid who had no fashion taste what so ever. Cassal reached in her tote and looked at the printed email from the kid who was going to show her around on Monday, Blake Williams. I wonder what Blake is like. Cassal thought looking the highlight parts of her schedule indicating that he was in her classes; which was all but gym. He’s probably a smart kid, since he’s taking advances classes like me. The guy in front of her turned around and looked at her, until she looked up at him. “Did you need something?” he kindly asked, his green eyes looking down on her. Cassal blinked at the brightness of his eyes. “No, why?” she answered, realizing it was the same guy she had been staring at when he had gotten on the train. “I thought you needed something since you were kicking my leg,” She looked at her foot. It was where his leg would have been if he wasn’t turned around. “Sorry,” she blushed looking at her paper. “It’s okay,” he said smiling then turned back around. He could be Blake for all I know. She thought, looking over the seat at to get a good look at the patch on his blazer. The train came to a sudden stop lunging Cassal forward and hitting the guy on the head with her hand. “What was that for?” he said holding his head turning around. His eyes wide. “I’m so sorry,” Cassal blushed madly. “I just thought you might be someone I was gonna met so I was trying to at your blazer and see if you might go to my school and if so if I might know you,” “Okay,” he said nodding. “Well for starters, I go to Trenton Academy.” Bingo! She smiled. “And I can guarantee you, that I don’t know you.” She nodded. None of the guys back in California that she knew or had met had such bright green eyes, or didn’t freak out if they got nailed in the head by a strange girl. “I’m Cassal Davis,” she smiled thinking introducing herself was the only polite thing she could do. “I’m Ben Hastings,” he said smiling back at her. So close! She thought. There was an awkward silence between the two. “You wouldn’t happen to be new would you?” Ben looked at Cassal. She nodded. “Are you?” “Nawh,” he said stretching. “It’s my last year,” “It would be my fourth if I went here but it’s my first year,” she said puzzled. “So, you’re a senior?” “Yeah,” she laughed. “Would you like me to tell you a lot of helpful stuff?" Ben moved over in his sit making room for her. “I’d like that,” Cassal said getting out of her sit to sit with him. Who knows Cassal, he might be in your classes. She thought. Who knows.

chapter 2
miranda du vaughn

Miranda du Vaugh sat on the open window ledge of her dorm room eating out of a bag of skittles, as she watched a two guys tossing around a football heading to the fields probably to shred them up. She chucked a skittle at one of the guys who stopped as it hit him. His buddy stopped also. “Blake!” she yelled, then waved. Both guys waved, and the one with black hair yelled, “Hey!” “How was your summer?” she yelled back not even caring who heard they conversation. “Went to Italy, it was mad!” “Can you speak it?” Miranda grinned. If Blake could speak Italian, her dad would be thrilled. “Not that well,” he smiled. “Would you understand me if I said something to you in Italian?” “Must likely not!” the guy next to him laughed. “Good point,” she said. “Hey can I come with you guys?” Blake looked at his buddies and they nodded. “Sure,” he smiled. Miranda smiled and hopped of her ledge shutting it behind her, and then she put on her Nike Shocks and closed her room door behind her. “You ready?” Blake asked as she ran up to them. “Yup,” she said realizing that even though she had grown two inches over the summer, Blake was still a foot taller then her.

Miranda watched as the guys put on their cleats and toss the football around. “I fine this funny,” Miranda laughed as Carson scooted around on the grass ruing the 20 yard line. “The funny thing is that the people who clean this place rather clean the football field then the cafeteria.” Carson brushed his blonde hair out of his eyes. “Where’d you here that?” Blake asked throwing the football. “Chantal of course,” Carson laughed. Miranda frowned. Carson was a sweet guy and if asked Miranda, Chantal was worse then evil. She’d crush any guys’ heart she didn’t like in one second. “Carson,” Blake started, “I thought you said she doesn’t like you?” “No, she said she hates baseball,” Carson didn’t throw the football. “Carson,” Miranda said. “You play baseball,” “So?” “That means she hates baseball players,” Blake said. “I thought she meant she didn’t like the way teams played.” Carson laughed nervously. “You can be so naïve.” Blake said laughing. Miranda smiled at Carson’s comment. “Well, if she hates baseball players and baseball, why did she ask me out to get coffee Thursday night?” Carson looked at Miranda’s raging eyes to the confused expression that was on Blake’s face. Miranda glanced at Blake’s tan face. His cheeks were a rosy pink, his black hair was messy and his hazel eyes watery from the wind, but he still looked cute and he was all Miranda’s. She turned to sweet innocence Carson. He was a quiet guy who rarely like a girl more then a friend, he had been asked out about a thousands times and turned all of them down but one who was Miranda. They had dated all of freshman and sophomore year, breaking up their junior year before spring break, when Blake had been dared to go into the girls’ dorm after hours. He had gotten in and met Miranda sitting in the hall studying for a huge calc test. It wasn’t part of the plan but, Blake had made a move on Miranda, and a day later Carson and Miranda were broken up and a later Blake and Miranda were going out. “Wanna head back?” Blake asked her, bringing Miranda out of her thoughts. “Okay,” she said so quietly it sounded like she was whispering. She looked at Carson. The same carefree expression was on his face as he tossed the football in the air. “What?” Carson asked noticing she was staring. “Nothing,” “Okay,” Carson smiled and continued toss the football in the air. His smile, reminded her of all the times they were together.

chapter 3
emma myers
“Emma Myers is it?” the librarian of Cunningham Hall looked at the big green eyed blonde girl who stood in front of her, who was eager to get her library card. “Yes, ma’ma,” Emma said in a high pitched voice. “Here you go Miss,” The librarian handed Emma, her card and smiled. “You know Emma, no one has ever to get a library card this early,” she laughed and Emma smiled. Was that a good thing? Emma thought, she stared at her library card. it was a platinum card and look a lot like a credit card it was a shame her parents wouldn’t be sending her a credit card until her birthday. “Do you need library helpers?” Emma bit her bottom lip. She was sound more and more like a freshman which she was, but people didn’t need to know that. Right? The librarian raised and eye brow, “you really are lucky that I copy these, this morning.” “Thank you,” Emma said writing her name her name on the paper. “Oh yeah my name is Miss. Shontay but just call me Blum,” She smiled at Emma. “So, you came last week and with some girl with brown hair and you’re new?” “Yeah, freshman,” Emma sighed and slide the paper back over to Blum. Blum pulled out some Evian water and handed one to Emma, then she sat on top of the counter. “Well it’s not all that bad begin new,” Blum smiled and patted the space next to her. “Why do you say that?” “So starters, you’re a freshman which is good because that means you’re new in a natural way.” Emma nodded her head. “Secondly, you are in here on a full scholarship, and third there are a lot of hot guys here that you can spend three more yes with after this one,” Emma lowered the water bottle from her mouth and said, “You’re right! I should just make the must of it,” A guy with red head walked into the building. His blue eyes focus on no in particular. “Ello, Blum” a British accent came out of his mouth causing Emma’s eyes to widen and she stomach dropped. His British?! She turned to Blum who was waving. “Ello, Prince Demetre how was London?” Emma noticed she was waving him over to them. PRINCE?! He’s a British Prince? Like Prince William?! “It was delightful,” he looked Emma up and down. “And who might this be?” Demetre’s blue eyes looked Deeping into her green ones. “This Miss. Emma Myers,” Blum purposely thought out the fact that Emma was a freshman. “The pleasure all mine,” He took her hand and kissed it. Emma couldn’t help but giggle. For a Prince he was ever more polite then her Brother-In-Law who lived in London. Emma looked at her hand and was glad that she had gotten a manicure this morning. “Would you like me to walk you back to your dorm?” Demetre said still holding Emma’s hand. Emma looked at Blum who nodded and whispered to her, “He likes you Em, he doesn’t kiss any girls’ hands you know.” Emma looked at her and grinned. “It’s not a problem, I mean you were going something and looked important,” It wasn’t like Emma didn’t want to be with him, she was dieing to be with him. “I mean I don’t wanna be a burden or anything.” How lame do I sound? Emma thought figuring that Demetre would drop everything he was doing at that moment to be with her. Demetre shook his head. “Do you want to come back here when we are done?” he wait was Emma to get off of the counter. “I can’t I have to meet up with my cousin at six and her new friend she just met. Ben something,” Emma said looking at her phone. “Okay,” Demetre said. “While Cheerio Blum,” he waved. “Cheerio,” Blum waved. “Bye, bye you two love birds,” she smiled.

chapter 4
chantal logan
Chantal held her LG in her hand, waiting for it to vibrate as she looked out the car window. After she had heard that Blake wasn’t going to France with her and her family over break because he had some football camp, Chantal was reasonable and understood but when she had called Miranda’s cell and Blake picked up, she became confused, paranoid, and mad. The only highlight of her summer was when Ben had called to wish her a happy belated birthday, two months after to her birthday. But it was still sweet of him to say something. “Frenchie, I still don’t get why you bought almond clusters for Blake if he broke your heart to date your best friend,” the blonde girl sitting next to Chantal said, taking a piece chocolate and expertly putting it in her mouth without messing up her Chanel lip gloss. “I mean, it’s pointless. Shouldn’t you just like try to make up with Miranda?” “Why should I Lola?!” Chantal snapped feeling so spoiled. She fiddled with her blonde hair and crossed her legs. “She’s the one who took him from me and, Blake thinks he can still be my friend. And Miranda’s trying to avoid the fact that she’s my best friend and won’t even talk me anymore.” Chantal’s big aqua eyes from Lola’s point of view looked so unfamiliar like she hadn’t known Chantal since they were two. “Well, I guess you’re looking your school is letting be your sub for French,” Lola smiled. “I’d be around for two weeks if you had any problems, and when I leave we can still talk just not as much because of time differences.” Chantal laughed and Lola grinned. “Worst part is that I stuck with Miranda as my roommate, and some Emma girl is in our dorm also.” As the car stop, she pulled down her golden Tom Ford sunglasses from the top of her head and put on her face, as Lola put on her opal Oliver Peoples bug eyed sunglasses. Walking out of the car, Chantal looked at the sea of students; many freshmen crowed the map of the school. While girls had reunions and hugged each other, as guys gave each other high five. Some of the kids had already started going to the library, while some had to cut through the library to get to their dorms. Lola appeared next to Chantal as the car drove away. “Ready Frenchie?” she asked. “You know it,” Chantal grinned, and the two girls headed unto the campus. Only five minutes had passed and Chantal had already been greeted by three fourths of the student body, the other fourth was all freshmen of course. As the girls scrolled on down the campus hoping to Vladimir Hall before night, Chantal had seen Miranda with Carson and Blake at a near by tree. Miranda had acted like she didn’t see her of course just laughing loudly at what Blake had said to show Chantal that she and Blake were closer then Chantal and he would have ever been. “So I take it you aren’t gonna turn around and give Miranda a give hug and become best buds again, are you?” Lola asked. “If I go back there, Miranda’s funeral might be tomorrow evening.” Chantal said making it clear to Lola that Miranda was most likely never be her friend. Lola opened her mouth to say something but a guy’s voice came out instead. The girls laughed and Lola glanced behind them. “Soon to be ex-boyfriend at five o’clock what do we do?” Chantal looked back to see that Blake wasn’t too far behind them. “You go on,” she said stopping. “Kay,” Lola said running out of sight. Chantal looked at her white and dark teal beaded Nixon watch to see if it was really five o’clock. It was actually five o’clock. “Hey,” Blake said with a warm smiled, even his eyes seemed to smile. “Hi,” Chantal said fast. If she played her cards right with their conversation, he’d ended up being unknowingly forced to talk about how his summer was with Miranda and not his girlfriend. “How was your summer,” he asked. “Fine. But to bad it’s over,” she said. “I know, I like school and all but,” Blake stopped talking when he could tell Chantal wasn’t waiting for him to talk. “But what?” Chantal crossed her arms. “But I like the summer better,” Blake said slowly as if he had to think about he was gonna say. “That’s cool but I wasn’t talking about the summer when I said it was over,” Chantal could see Blake’s body stiffen. His mouth formed a question but he didn’t say enough. He just simply closed it. But then he finally questioned, “What?” “It’s over Blake I knew that when I was in France the same week as Miranda you were in Spain, and that’s why you couldn’t come.” “I had football camp that month Chantal,” he said a little bit defensively but she could tell Blake didn’t want the whole campus to know anything. “Yeah, that’s why when I called your cell your mom said that you were in Italy,” Blake tired to search Chantal’s eyes for clues but because of her sunglasses he couldn’t see anything. “Blake if you just wanted to end it you didn’t have to lie then cheat on me,” she said. A hot tear was forming in her eye. “I didn’t cheat on you,” Blake insisted. “You didn’t cheat on me but you lied to me?!” Chantal snapped. “Or are you lying about that also?” a tear ran her cheek. Blake had nothing to say. “You know what,” Chantal started digging through her purse and pulled out a tiny ring box. “Take this back and you can give it to Miranda.” She chucked it at him and started to walk away. “Chantal I,” he said causing her to stop. “You what?” She couldn’t look at him, he looked more hurt then she did. “I wanted to say.” “I already gave your chance to say what you wanted to and you didn’t say anything,” Chantal said knowing she had given him enough time to hurt her enough more. “But I,” Blake silently said. “I’m sorry,” was all she heard him say. Lola reappeared from behind one of the trees with a tissue in her hand, and smiling sadly. “Sorry,” She said. Chantal gave the older girl a hug. At least Lola was a friend she knew wouldn’t steal her boyfriend from her.
Blake: C, I still have your bday gift.
Chantal: Laissez-moi seul!!!
Blake: I still can’t understand French yet!!
Blake: hello?!
Blake: u there?

chapter 5
paige mitchel

Silently walking down from Vladimir Hall’s roof, Paige Mitchel had watched the many students walk from various areas of the campus and she had even seen the use to be perfect couple, Chantal Logan and Blake Williams. Her best friend had dumped or had gotten dumped by the guy she had loved, and she had no idea that Paige was even on campus. Her blond ponytail hit her bobbed up and down as she went do the stairs, with her laptop and camera under her arm. She overheard girls talking about Chantal and Blake’s incident that Paige had seen at the best view ever, a group of girls had even stopped her to know what was going on. “Paige!” a blond hair senior said walking out of dorm #210. “I was looking for you,” “Hey Claire,” they both exchanged hugs. “What is it?” “Did you see Chantal?” She stopped when a bunch of sophomores walked by the slowly to hear what was going on. “She’s a wreck!” Claire whispered. Paige nodded. “It was Blake, first he lied, and then he went to Italy with Miranda saying he had football camp so he couldn’t go to France with Chantal who is now his ex and is probably baling her eyes out.” Paige took a huge gasp for air. She never knew she say a run on sentence in one breath. “I was about to go check on her wanna come?” “Sure,” Claire walked about into the room to get her key and a present. She locked the door and right on the dry erase board outside of her door. roomie i’m out && about on campus ttyl -claire “Ready?” Paige asked, and Claire nodded. “What did you get her for her birthday?” Paige tilted her head to the rectangle box with a bow in Claire’s hands. “Guitar Hero 3,” Claire laughed, “and that Sonic & Mario Olympics Game for the Wii,” Paige put her hand to her mouth. “All I can say is that I’m going next door to Chantal’s everyday,” she grinned and the both the girls laughed. As they reached dorm #109, Paige was about to knock when she could here Switchfoot’s “The Blues” playing from speakers. She slowly turned the door knob then knocked. Claire and Paige were surprised to see the form of a covered lifeless body underneath a plaid feather mattress, on a bed next to Lola. “Hey,” Lola waved at them in. “Hey Lola,” the girls said in unison. “So, is she crying or sleeping or did she die of a heart attack?” Paige asked opening up her laptop and signing on to the schools website. “She cried her she out of it,” Lola said looking about at Chantal who was curled up in ball. A tiny almost invisible tear slowly side down her face. “And I thought Blake was better then that also,” Claire said with a pout. “I mean out of all the people in the world, Chantal and Blake were the last on my list to see break up before graduating. Besides me and Luke.” she blushed when she said his name. Paige smiled and looked at her site she had decided Modern Day Technology English project. They could start a newspaper since it was their last year of the Trenton Academy Life. They could call it something French that way it would sound more sophisticated and classy. “Hey Lola,” Paige said just realizing that she had tuned out Claire and Lola talking. “Hmm?” “How do you say gossip in French?” “Bavardage,” Lola picked up the vibrating phone on the nightstand and looked at the caller id. “Why?” “Oh no reason,” Paige grinned closing her laptop. “Well I got to go and unpack I’ll see you guys later okay?” “Kay,” Claire said waving goodbye to Paige and Lola nodded her head. Paige closed the door gently behind her. She knew what the site was gonna be called ‘bavardage juteux chic’. Classy...Juicy...Gossip.

chapter 6
Pearls make everything look classy.
Cassal stood in front of her desk that she had organized the week before she had come. Everything was in tidy order, are at least she’d appear to her roommates like she was neat and would be able to keep her part of the room half descent. The room was a peachy color, and the middle bed and bed by the bathroom were claimed so, Cassal had claimed the bed by the window that looked over the students who walked on campus, Clifton Hall that had the school’s café in it, and the plain green fields with the some river that lead from the Boston Harbor. She looked at her phone that had Ben’s text message he had sent her when they had made their way off to their dorms. They had arranged to might at Clifton Hall at six thirty and Cassal had invited Emma to come if possible and Emma had texted sure of course. Cassal opened up her closet that she had spent and hour on making an enough room as possible for her roommates. The door opened and blond girl walked in closing the door quietly as if she was sneaking in. She turned around and walked pass Cassal and then somehow gently dropped her laptop on the middle bed. The girl went to the middle fridge next to Cassal and, jumped when she saw Cassal’s black UGG moccasins. “Hi,” Cassal smiled with a wave. “God your quite,” the girl greeted her. “You must be Cassal,” she said reopening the fridge and getting out an apple. Cassal nodded wondering whether the girl was Paige or Bristle. “I’m Paige,” she said with a smile and closed the fridge with her foot. “Whatcha got there?” Paige looked at the two shirts Cassal had in her hands. “I was just getting ready to meet up with a friend,” Cassal said holding up the flamingo orange Ella Moss Cami to her body. “Dose this look nice?” “With what bottoms, and who are you meeting up with?” Paige asked sitting on the computer chairs next to the closet. “Um how about theses?” Cassal asked pulling out a pair of Istanbul white Bop Basics shorts from the closet, “and I’m meeting up with Ben Hastings.” She watched as a small grin came across Paige’s lips. “I like the outfit but what about shoes and tell me about Ben,” Paige chucked her finished apple in the trash and sat crisscross on her bed. Cassal noticed Paige hadn’t even taken a bit of the apple. “I mean what do you know and what you like about him,” “Well, I know that he likes The New England Patriots, and he plays basketball.” Cassal could feel herself blushing. “I like how he doesn’t argue much and his a good listener. He doesn’t get mad fast,” “How would you know if he doesn’t get mad fast?” Paige questioned. “Well,” Cassal started. “I kinda hit him on the head.” she blushed at how they had actually met. “Like an accident or flirting?” Paige raised an eyebrow. “Accident, the train had stopped.” Cassal picked up a pair of red Cocobelle sandals and Paige nodded to them. “So where are you two going to?” Paige stood up. “Clifton Hall,” Cassal gestured her head towards the window, and Paige nodded. Cassal glanced at her watch. “Well I gotta get ready but I’ll talk to you later okay?” “Yup,” Paige smiled opening up her laptop as Cassal ran to the bathroom to change.

chapter 7
Dinner is one of the most important meals of the day!
Miranda walked into the diner hall with a bored look on her face, as making Chantal feel lower than life it’s self wasn’t exciting enough for her; and luckily for her they had assigned sitting and Blake would be sitting at her table. The smell of pizza immediately made Miranda smile and remember the same of pizza almost everyday when she was on vacation. Walking down the line, she only took pizza with herself to her table where she found Blake, Claire, Luke Vanopoa and Carson sitting down at the round five chaired table. She could feel Claire glaring at her when she sat down, and was pretty sure she had been glaring at Miranda ever since she had enter the dining hall. Claire was one of Chantal’s loyal friends besides Paige and Lola, and it didn’t surprise Miranda if Claire was plotting something against her. “Hey guys,” Miranda gave an innocence smile towards Claire who simply took a bite of her apple and texted Chantal underneath the table. “Love your shirt Claire,” Miranda said but she could tell that Claire wasn’t buying her sweet act. “Thanks,” Claire looked at her yellow Ralph Lauren stretch polo to see if there was any pizza stains on it. Nope. “So how was your summer?” “The usual,” Miranda bit her lip and though and was thinking about how she had left out the main information. Like, how she went there with Blake instead of him going with his girlfriend, (I mean ex-girlfriend) Chantal, to France as it was originally was planned. And now Chantal wasn’t Miranda’s best friend anymore. Yeah that’s the usual. Miranda and Claire thought, as Miranda took a bit of the pizza. “That’s cool,” Claire finally said obviously not buying one word. “I guess,” Miranda shrugged. “What about you?” “She was in Sydney, Australia mate,” Luke said in adorable Australian accent mocking Claire’s heritage though none of the two sounded like they were Australian. “So I had no one to camp with but my annoying brothers.” He frowned. “Hey at least you guys went places,” Carson added. “I was stuck in Maryland with only my xbox360 and gamecube.” “What’s so wrong with that?” Blake asked. “I gained ten pounds from doing nothing,” Carson pretended to cry, he put his head on the table. “It’s alright man it’s alright,” Blake said patting him on his back like he was crying causing everyone to laugh. “It looks like you two are trying out for that acting club thing,” Luke laughed. “Yup,” Carson said and Blake just nodded. “So you are?” Claire asked raising an eyebrow. “Because we are gonna need a guy part for Romeo,” “It matters who’s Juliette?” Blake grinned. “Cause if it’s Luke I’ll pass,” they laughed. “Well Juliette here doesn’t want you to know the true Juliette because then I’d be fired,” Luke said in a girlish voice and Miranda spit out the apple juice she hadn’t even noticed she had picked up from the line. “Okay,” Miranda said laughing and everyone else started to laugh also. “But, seriously who’s Juliette?” Blake said trying to stop laughing. “Me,” Claire smiled. Miranda could see that Blake and Carson were speechless when Claire had said that she was Juliette. “Well, I’ll sign up for Romeo than it looks like it might be fun,” Blake said, and Miranda rolled her eyes. She had overheard him talking to his buddies to see who could get the most kisses in their grade before Thanksgiving break. “Same here,” Carson smiled. “But I still couldn’t see a girl like you killing yourself for a guy like Blake.” “And I couldn’t see Claire killing herself for any of you,” Luke smiled just giving them a reminder that Claire was his girlfriend. “Wait, are you the only Juliette?” Miranda questioned. She shook, “I guess the other girls couldn’t stand having to kill themselves,” Claire shrugged. “Some girl named Cassal Davis had signed up. She’s most likely to get the part since she actually looks like Juliette.” she shrugged again. “I think I’m meeting this girl tomorrow,” Blake grinned. “I have to show her around the campus,” Miranda rolled her eyes again. Blake could act like the most immature boy she knew but, she still loved him. Who couldn’t? She glanced back around the diner hall, still no seen of Chantal and she grinned again. She couldn’t wait to go back to the dorm with a smile on her face because she was a step closer to get to Blake than Chantal.

chapter 8
Sometimes 3 isn’t a party.
Emma waltz into Clifton Hall where she was invited by Cassal to come eat dinner with her and her friend Ben who personally, Emma was pretty sure was Cassal’s boyfriend. She shrugged off the idea and looked for a deep tanned brown haired girl who would be dressed in anything but teal. “Emma?” she heard a voice call her. Turning around she jumped to see the sight of a taller girl standing directly behind her. “Cassal!” Emma gave Cassal a big hug, and could feel Cassal’s body almost clasped under the pressure of her hug. “What does your room look like?” “Like a normal senior’s room,” Cassal smiled led the way to a nice three chaired table. “Why?” “Because I have a senior dorm!” Emma squealed. “By yourself?” Emma shook her and pulled out her chair to sit down. “I’m sharing it with two other senior girls.” Cassal nodded and then smiled when she saw Ben. Emma turned in her chair to see this Ben kid. His green eyes were extremely bright and Emma winced when she looked ay her. He wore a blue American Eagle T-Shirt a pair of khaki cargo shorts and black Nikes. “Emma, this is Ben,” Cassal introduce her. “Ben, this is my cuisine Emma,” “Hello,” Emma smiled extending her hand. “Hey,” he said shaking her hand. “So,” Emma started as they all sat down. “What colleges are you looking into?” “Umh. I don’t know yet,” Ben glanced at Cassal who had a confused look on her face. “Maybe Princeton?” he said. “I’m thinking about going to Brown,” Emma smiled. “I have no idea,” Cassal shrugged. “I honestly don’t wanna go to college.” Ben nodded, and Emma put her hands on her hip. “Gosh, Cassal you’re such a baby!,” Emma laughed. “You’re gonna have to go to college some day,” “She’s right,” Ben said. “I don’t want to go to college either but who knows maybe I’ll make into a school like Trenton Academy!” He joked and Cassal laughed. Emma stared blankly at them then slowly shook her head. “How bout I ask the questions?” Ben asked sweetly. “Good ahead,” Cassal smiled. “Fine,” Emma said folding her arm over her chest. “If you had to go a day without doing one thing besides eating, drinking water or sleeping or whatever, what would be the hardest thing not to do?” “Dance,” Cassal blurted. “I have to dance at least one time a day because I was so use to just dancing in the hallways when no one was around,” she laughed. “I’d say singing,” Emma giggled. “I’m not the best or I should say I suck at it but,” she shrugged. “For me, it’d be watching TV,” Ben smiled. “Especially ESPN,” “That’s a total guy show,” Emma said. “Hey at least I’m better at you when it comes to singer,” he said. “You wouldn’t know that,” Emma challenged. “Well I know I’m taller,” Cassal could help but “Oo,” at that moment which caused all of them to burst into laughter. “Okay, my turn,” Cassal took a deep breath so she could stop laughing. “If you had to give up pizza for your arm would you do it?” “No,” Ben when at the same time Emma said “Yes,” and this cause them all to start laughing again. “No because I love pizza, it makes those weird kids parties bearable,” Ben said. “Plus it’s not like I’d care,” “I would if I was going out with you!” Cassal laughed. “That would be awkward,” “So you’re saying that you wouldn’t be my friend if I had a fake arm?” Ben made it sound like he did have a fake arm. “Do you?” “No,” “See,” Cassal pointed at him for no good reason. Emma couldn’t help but laughing at Cassal’s stupidness. “Oh my God, Cassal,” she laughed. “What?” Cassal looked confused, and there was a silence as Emma and Ben glanced at each then started to laugh. “Oh,” Cassal said and started to laugh also. “Anyway,” Ben said. “You know what,” “What?” Cassal and Emma said in unison. “We could call ourselves the Laugh Five,” Ben looked at the air as if there was a sign in bright neon lights flashing the words ‘The Laugh Five.’ And that was just enough to make them all laugh again.
***
The time quickly went by and Emma had forgotten that she had promised Demetre she’d text him. Even though Emma didn’t believe in things like love at first sight, she was sure had fallen in love with Demetre. With his adorable British accent and stunning blue eyes, what wasn’t there to love? “So Emma?” Ben’s voice interrupted her thoughts. “Yes,” Emma immediately realized that she was the only one sitting down at the table and Cassal and Ben weren’t by it. “Are you staying?” Cassal asked walking over to Ben’s side. “Oh! No I was just thinking,” Emma looked at her blue Nikon watch. “Wow, it’s already nine pm,” she nervously laughed. “Are you okay?” Ben asked. “They didn’t spike your water did they?” He exclaimed the tiny cup of water by her hand. “No I’m just tired,” Emma stood up. It was true since she could barely sleep last night; or was it just the fact she was thinking about Demetre so much she spaced out? “So, do classes like start tomorrow?” she changed the subject. Cassal looked back at Emma as they walked out of the café, and she nodded her head. “Well I gotta go get some books,” Ben said walking the over way. “See yah,” “Bye,” the girls waved. As they walked away Emma asked, “Is tomorrow Monday?” Cassal nodded. “I think I have to meet up with this guy whose showing me around,” Cassal said then shrugged. “Are you gonna tell him about how you’re an eye doctor or about your boyfriend Ben?” Emma teased. “If he wants I’ll tell him about how my mom’s an eye doctor and Ben’s not my boyfriend,” Cassal nudged her lightly. “But a head ups; he seems really into you if you didn’t notice.” Emma smiled and nudged her back. “That’s good,” Cassal grinned. As they got to their different dorms the girls hugged each other good night and parted into their dorms.

chapter 9
Forgive and don’t forget is what I’ll say.
Chantal looked at the door from the top of her laptop to see who was coming in just to prepare herself to hear Miranda blab about dinner if Miranda was coming in. At the sight of a little blond girl walking in the room, Chantal sighed a sigh of relief. The girl looked very tired but at the same time energetic in her steps. “You must be Emma,” Chantal said returning her eyes to her laptop. “Mhm,” the girl said with a yawn and Chantal looked back up at the girl. She looked so tired. Must be passed her bed time. Chantal thought as the girl walked sluggish over to the bedroom with a pair of pajamas being dragged on the floor. What an overly happy roomie. She thought. Chantal looked back at her school’s site, and checked to see the gossip column that Paige had made for their English assignment. It read.

Qs&As
People have been asking me if BW&CL broke up. The answer is yes.

Q. Why?
A. That’s to classified to tell at the moment because I don’t even know yet.

Q. Will Blake find another love?
A. Mostly yes because as our Romeo of the play, we all know he needs a Juliette.

Q. But who will J be?
A. No idea!!

She scrolled down to read the comments to continue reading.

I overhead CS talking about the play at lunch!! Some girl named Cassal is most likely gonna be J, If that is true I feel so sorry for a lot of girls!! –Memaid87

Memaid87 is right! All of you Blake fans better sign up for the part of J soon!!
-A&F

The sound of the bathroom door opening and the dorm door opening caused Chantal to look up to see if Emma was leaving. Nope but Miranda was walking in. Chantal decided to watch Emma walked in her pink rainbow colored long sleeve pajamas and pajamas bottoms then watching Miranda talk to Blake in the doorway. She looked at Emma who curled up in a ball in the middle bed not even bothering to put her covers on her body. The sound a door slamming cause Emma up spring up from her bed and Chantal just looked at computer screen. “Oh sorry,” Miranda said to Emma, and Chantal rolled her eyes. She turned to Chantal. “Look who finally wok up,” Miranda glared at Chantal who simply smiled at her. “Hello roomie,” Chantal said sounding glad to see Miranda though she wasn’t. “How was your summer?” “Exciting,” Miranda smiled. “Went to Italy with Blake,” “Speaking about my ex, where is her?” Chantal’s voice was light and care free. “Probably at Gamber by now,” Miranda shrugged walking over to her closet to get out a sweater. “Why?” “Well I was just wondering,” she smiled. “It’s good to wonder,” Emma said out of nowhere and she crawled underneath her blankets. “Yup,” Chantal smiled. She could’ve cared less where Blake was. “I heard you are trying out for the part of Juliette,” Miranda nodded. “Good luck because you’re gonna need it,” Chantal smiled. “I hope you know Juliette has brown hair not blond,” Miranda snapped. “Who said I was trying out?” Chantal grinned. Miranda didn’t say anymore but simply pulled out a sweater a size bigger then her with the letters ‘B.WILLIAMS’ on the back. Then walked by Chantal completely ignoring her; not even knowing that Chantal was to busy IMing people at the moment to care.

chapter 10
A good roomie asks questions.
Paige watched Cassal walk around their dorm aimless. “How was your date?” Paige asked stressing the word date. “Did you to kiss?” “It was fun, and no we didn’t,” Cassal smiled. “We ate a little and talked the whole time. Plus Paige you don’t kiss someone when you first met them.” Cassal opened up the fridge then closed forgetting what she was looking for. “Well I do!” Paige said with a grin and Cassal smiled. “Anyway it’s good that you two had fun.” “I’m so tired and I have to wake up at eight am tomorrow when I have the whole day to sleep in until lunch,” Cassal said falling on her bed. “Oh yeah that reminds me.” Paige opened her laptop. “Blake told me to tell you that you’d be meeting at eleven if that’s okay,” “PM?” Cassal shrieked. “Wow, you’re dumb,” Paige said. “No eleven am,” “Oh,” Cassal blushed. “Tell him I’m okay with that,” she said. “Have you ever met Blake before?” Paige asked as she logged on the school website. Cassal nodded. “When?” “Orientation,” she said. “What do you think of him compared to Ben?” Paige loved asking personal questions it made her feel as if she was a talk show host. “I don’t know,” Cassal shrugged. “He kinda ran into when we first met and a spilled cranberry juice on his shirt,” She bit her lip. Paige put her hand to her mouth. When it came to meeting people in clumsy ways Cassal would probably bet everyone on the planet. “What he do?” “Well I remember blushing like an idiot, everyone was gasping and he just smiled said ‘It’s okay’ and then said ‘Welcome to Trenton,’. Then he walked to where he was originally headed.” Cassal held a pink push stuff animal in her hand. “He seemed really cool about it like it didn’t matter,” “Well that’s Blake for yah,” Paige laughed. “As long as it was an accident he doesn’t care,” “Honestly, I don’t get boys here,” Cassal shook her head. “I mean, do that to a guy in Cali and he’ll like kill you,” “Well it’s only the boys at Trenton who are nice in some way,” Paige smiled. “Most are polite to us girls because Trenton offers kick boxing,” Cassal laughed. “Isn’t that delightful,” Paige grinned. Cassal walked over to her and flopped down on it. “Well I’m gonna go to sleep,” she yawned stretching then turning over. “Nighty night,” Paige said with her attention back to her laptop looking her buddy list to see who had just logged on.
